Fair Trade Challenge: May 6^th-11th

In celebration of World Fair Trade Day, be a challenger and join the movement in raising awareness! Be an example of what it means to live the fair trade life.

Here’s how it works:

• SIGN up as an official challenger by sending an email to this address: austin@tenthousandvillages.com
• EAT, DRINK, USE, WEAR fair trade products each day
• TAG pictures of how you are eating, drinking, wearing using them
• POST on your favorite social media website
  • Facebook-  Post picture on your wall and tag Ten Thousand Villages-Austin
    • We’ll share our favorites on our wall
  • Twitter- use our handle @AustinVillages
• Stick it to ‘em and wear an “I am Fair Trade” sticker each day to show your dedication to the cause!
• On Saturday we’ll draw a lucky winner from the entries to receive a $50 gift card to the store!

World Fair Trade Day Party: May 11^th 10a-7p at the store

The After Party: Bike in Movie at Jos (after the store closes)

Ride your bike or walk on up to Jo's for a free outdoor screening of Delicious Peace, a film about Ugandan coffee farmers aiming to bring harmony and economic development to their region. The screening begins at 8pm. Make sure you bring a chair or blanket to sit on and come hungry and thirsty for Jo’s delicious goodies.
